Leaf & Logic is led by Tamara J. Coburn, an instructional systems designer with 25+ years in public education. She specializes in multilingual learner support, curriculum design, and instructional coaching. Tamara integrates academic language development across content areas using WIDA standards, a functional language approach, Universal Design for Learning, and Visible Thinking Routines.
Our history
Leaf & Logic was founded to help schools build instructional systems where language and literacy are not add-ons but essential tools for deep learning. The work moves beyond compliance and one-offs toward sustained, collaborative practice that strengthens schoolwide support for multilingual learners.
