Leaf and Logic Consulting is led by Tamara Coburn, an instructional systems designer with over 25 years in public education.
Tamara brings deep expertise in multilingual learner support, curriculum development, and instructional coaching. Her work integrates academic language development across content areas using a functional language approach grounded in WIDA standards, Universal Design for Learning, and Visible Thinking Routines. She collaborates with schools and systems to build language-rich environments that elevate both students and staff.

Leaf and Logic was founded to support schools in designing instructional systems where language and literacy are not add-ons, but essential tools for deep learning.
Tamara created the practice to help educators move beyond compliance and one-off trainings—toward sustained, collaborative work that supports multilingual learners and strengthens schoolwide practices.
